The Los Angeles chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "Team In Training" (TNT) prepares predominantly novice athletes to compete in endurance events - in an effort to raise funds for cancer research. In exchange for their fundraising, TNT pairs athletes with qualified coaches and provides training clinics for events, offers programs on nutrition and hydration, supplies participants with a personal fundraising website, and offers lodging and airfare to accredited events, in which to compete and raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
